Kedai Kopi Wong Phin Kee （黄平记）

The roast chicken stall run by the owner, slathered with thin soy sauce, is firm-textured and roasted fresh daily, the rice fluffy and fragrant but not overly so. This is the working man’s food, and one of the better ones. Accompaniments include char siew, which is sweet and well-textured. It is very good, but not excellent char siew. is a OK for many working man's food. The accompanying ginger-chilli sauce is sweetish and a must for chicken rice. A plate of chicken rice, one portions of chicken breast, a side of char siew cost RM9 of course with complimentary soup. minus the char siew is RM 7.50 Famous Signature Curry noodles with a balance amount of aromatic lemongrass and turmeric. RM 7, do order their teh panas with balance of aromatic fragrance of teh. Ask for no put white sugar.

Although the environment is a bit hit and stuffy, but I would love to recommend their flavourful Seafood Curry Noodle, the seafoods are fresh. Indeed a must try here!

Oh the curry mee in this kopitiam is nice. Clear light curry type and made by local. Kopitiam a bit packed and not many tables but sufficient for a small family and require to share table. Overall nice experience especially the curry mee.

Convenient place for simple lunch. Tried the curry mee with siham for rm 8, would be nicer if it's creamy with thicker broth.

Pan mee and yee mee here is excellent. Curry laksa and wanton mee is not bad. Fried kuey teow is just passable.

The thick wan tan Mee is the best and my favourite. Noodle texture is perfect and taste good. One of the best wantan Mee in Setapak area. Must order the Fried wantan. Price is cheap here.

We always come back here for the curry mee . Super nice super yummy . They serve wan ton mee , soup noodles and curry noodles with sihum, char Siew, fu chok, meatball , fried wanton , tofu bok . They restaurant sell other noddles too like pork noodles , chicken/char Siew rice / chicken feet noodles . The shop sells nice roti bakar with butter and their coffee is nice too . But always very crowded even on weekdays . Limited space and regular customers always chill there after their food and no one is bother to ask them to give out the table to others . So you want need to wait awhile if you come into a group . 1-2 person is easy to find table or shared table . If you sit outside is a bit hot as they are not fully covered with canopy .

Curry noodles and wantan noodle are nice. The curry broth is thick and aromatic like old school style (long hour boiled with anchovies) . Price is very reasonable with the portion
